Snorkelling

Scrap lots of photos in class next week! It was inspired by a layout at the link here, so I can't take credit for the photo wheel idea.
However, we're also adding a hessian / twine flower and some stamping, to make it appropriate for any occasion. Think wedding, outback, holidays....anything goes! Choose colours to suit your photos.
You will need eight 3x4" photos (3 portrait + 5 landscape) and three landscape 4x6". All of these will be trimmed to fit, so bring a few spares! You can also fit a 6x8" in the bigger circle centre instead of 2 photos. Please bring a darning needle, sharp pointy scissors, craft knife and alphabet stickers.
Classes will be on Monday (yes, it's a public holiday, but we'll be there!) at 9:30am and Tuesday at 10am & 6pm.
Cost is $25
See you there!

Let's scrap the men in our lives

Last Sunday was Father's Day, so let's do a manly layout in class! I used a photo of my Dad.

The new Barbershop collection from Kaisercraft is really beautiful with soft colours in blues, green, grey and charcoal black. It's nice and manly without being overly dark and dull. You'll see a bit more of it in the following weeks, as both Janet and I loved it!

There are so many nice details to fussy cut (bring some good scissors) and you will have a choice in which words or pictures you pick.

I went to town with lots of layers of these beautiful pastel shades, paired with some soft silver highlights.

Choose a 4x6" landscape photo that doesn't have very bright colours in it (or convert it to black & white) for the best results. You can also use vintage photos or anything handyman-related.

Class times are as always:
Monday (12/09) at 9:30am
Tuesday (13/09) at 10am & 6pm
at Scrappin' With Style @ TJ's
Cost is $25 and includes all materials

Kits will be available if you can't make it, but only if there's leftovers.
